Riding On The Clouds

Just outside the Eastern gate there’s a commotion
The rumor is the King is coming soon
The crowd all gathers waiting for His coming
It may be evening, morning or at noon

They stand and watch with great anticipation
For His coming is an answer to their prayers
All their lives they have had trials and tribulations
When the King comes back true freedom will be theirs

They have praised Him here on earth for generations
They have served Him in every way they could
They have spread the story of His soon arrival
So that His great love would be understood

Then they saw Him seated on a white horse
Dressed in royal garments white as snow
On His thigh was written King of Kings
And He entered as the Lord of Lords

The crowd sang Glory Hallelujah to the King
Glory Hallelujah to the Lord of Lords
Worthy is the one who comes riding on the clouds
To take His precious children home

 Glory, Hallelujah to the King
 Glory Hallelujah to the Lord
Worthy is the one who comes riding in the clouds
To take His precious children home.
