I Want To Know More

I Want To Know You More

Deeper and deeper is His love for me
Higher and wider than mountain or sea
Stronger and louder than the wind or the waves
More than I dreamed is His wonderful grace

Moment by moment I feel His touch
Heartbeat and breath in tune with His love
Mercy and grace come down from the cross
More than deserved is His love for us

I want to know Jesus more
His mercy and grace I adore
The He died on a tree
 To forgive you and me
I want to know Jesus more

I want to know more of His love
I want to know more of His peace
I want to know more His joy
I want to know more if this faith
I want to know more of His hope
I want to know more of His peace
I want to know more of His power
 I want to know more
 I want to know more
He Wants No Less

Trust In His Love

 I can’t imagine why He’d save me
Why He’d take my cross to set me free
I can’t imagine why He’d take my stripes
Why He’d bear those thorns for me

I can’t imagine why He’d leave His throne
To be born in a manger with hay
I can’t imagine why He’d take this time
To walk with me each day

But He does.  Oh, yes, He does
He pours out His grace on me
When I can’t imagine all that He does
I trust in His love for me

I can’t imagine that He’d hear my prayers
Above all the noise of this world
I can’t imagine why He’d forgive my sin
Even though He is so holy

He’s the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end
He’s the bright and morning star and the Rose of Sharon
He’s the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords
He’s the way, the truth, the life and so much more

Yet, He loves me.  Oh, yes, He does
He pours out His grace on me
When I can’t imagine all that he does
I trust in His love for me

A Taste of Your Mercy

You were mercy to me when I wandered
Down the road of sin and despair
I struggled just to survive a life
That was desperately needing a prayer

You were mercy to me when I looked up
From the pit I was drowning in
My heart barely knew how to cry out
Yet you heard from the depth of my sin

 Then you saved me
 Reached out and held me
Wrapped your arms around this soul of mine
It was then you gave me
 A taste of your mercy
I will forever praise your name

You were mercy to me when I looked back
And I longed for the ways of my past
You showed me your way was much brighter
You showed me your mercy will last

Your mercy took my guilt. Your mercy took my shame.
Your mercy took my scars. Your mercy took my pain.
Your mercy took my sin and washed it all away
Now your mercy gives me life eternally

 You saved me
 Reached out and held me
Wrapped your arms around this soul of mine
It was then you gave me
 A taste of your mercy
I will forever praise your name
I will forever praise your name
 The name of Jesus
My Savior's Call

My Savior’s Call

Not the highest mountain, nor the deepest sea.
Not the river flooding, nor the storms around me.
Not the hardest trial, nor a dread disease
Can separate me from the love that Jesus has for me

Not the harshest gossip, nor the threats toward me
Not the persecution, nor those who don't believe
Not the hard temptations, nor the devils’ deeds
Can separate me from the love that Jesus has for me

Unquenchable, unstoppable is my Saviors love
Undeniable. Unforgettable is His mercy from above
Unending, irresistible is my Saviors call
Crying out to me. Crying out to all

He calls me out of darkness and into His great light
He calls me in my battles and strengthens me to fight
His grace and mercy find me and show me what is right
He calls me out of myself and into His great love

When That Day Arrives

One day all the saints will look skyward
The thunder will roll through the air
 A trumpet will sound
 Great hope will abound
As they know Jesus soon will be there

The lost will be trembling in fear
At the noise that the heavens will make
 They won’t know the times
 Or even know why
The saints are all praising His name

Then we will rise to the sky
As Jesus appears in the clouds
What a day that will be
 When His face we’ll see
The angels will shout His applause

The lost will stay here on this earth
 As chaos erupts everywhere
 So many have left
Planes and cars are all wrecked
Those remaining on earth are all scared

The saints sit and feast at His table
The go to their mansions of gold
 Then every day
 They sing out their praise
And the worship will never grow old

The lost are in mass confusion
Then someone points out the truth
 The rapture has come
Those with faith in the Son
Are now gone just as they always knew

I tell you this story today
So that you will be ready to go
 When that day arrives
 You will only survive
 Only if Jesus you know

Not just that He was a teacher
Or a prophet, or holy, or wise
But that He is the one
 Who died for your sins
And top Him you must be reconciled

 Come to the altar today
Come and repent and be saved
 Accept Jesus Christ
That he lived and He died
Then arose to bring eternal life
