Let the Storm roll in

Let The Storms Roll In

 Bring your broken, wounded heart
Come to me just as you are
Lay your burdens at my feet
I am here to meet your need

Nothing is too hard for me
 Nothing is too big
 Nothing is impossible
When you make Christ your King
 Come before my throne
 Bring to me your prayer
 I am listening
 To every word you say

 I will heal
 I will deliver
I will save your weary soul
 I bring peace
 I bring joy
In the middle of your storm

So, let the storm roll in
 Let the storm roll in
 Let the clouds build up
 And the lightning flash
My Savior waits to rescue me
Out of the storm He sets me free
 I’ll stand with Him eternally
 Let the storm roll in
 Let the storm roll in
Rescue Me

Rescue Me

 I'm fighting an enemy I can't see
My mind and my flesh fight against me
I'm tossed about like a ship in the sea
I need someone to rescue me

Why is it so hard to walk the straight path
Without the trials and tests that I have
Why can’t there be a peace that will last
When these storms seem to always come back

I pick up your word and look for the light
You say don't be anxious amidst the fight
Just pray and give thanks in the darkest nights
That's when my peace will erase your plight

So, I bow my head and fall on my knees
I surrender to you, Lord, and I ask you please
Take this storm away and rescue me
Out of the harsh and wind tossed seas

You say my child I will rescue you
But this storm is one that you must go through
You’ll be amazed at what I will do
When all is done it will strengthen you

Then I lift my hands and I give Him praise
For I know there’s a light at the end of this day
This battle is one where He’ll make a way
And this enemy will go away

Your Mercy

Your Mercy

 I seek your mercy, Lord
All that is within me needs your mercy, Lord
 I seek your mercy, Lord
A heart that wanders from you longs for mercy, Lord
Let mercy bring new life to me

 You move the mountains
 You calm the sea
Sit on the throne in majesty
Why do you think of me?
Why do you care for me?
Why did you die for me?
 Out of mercy, Your mercy.

Come fill my soul with peace.
 Come now and rescue me
Come bring new life to me
 By your mercy, your mercy
Marcy Comes Softly

Mercy Comes Softly

 Mercy comes softly
like a gentle rain in spring
 slowly shaping into our life
 To replenish us
 restore us
 renew us
 revive us

 Mercy comes softly
like a quiet breeze in the fall
 bringing cool sensations of
 peace in my heart
 my soul
 my mind
 my spirit

 Mercy comes softly
 like a bubbling steam
flowing down the mountainside into a larger river
 filling it with
 fresh life
 fresh nutrition
 fresh energy
 fresh strength

 Mercy comes softly
like a fluffy snow on a windless day
covering the earth all around us
 cleaning all it falls upon
 making it look fresh
 unblemished
 new
 beautiful

Mercy some softly into our lives
 Every minute of every day
Never leaving us helpless and alone
 Guiding us
 Shaping us
 Protecting us
 Providing for us

 Don’t miss it
 Treasure it
 Recognize it when it comes
 Give thanks to God
 Lift up His name
He will lift you up and out
 Of any trial
 Any test
 Any temptation
Because in the blink of an eye
 When you list expect it
 But most need it
 His mercy will come
 Softly
I'll Not Be Led Away

Higher Than Anything

In my sorrow I cried out
 Worthy is the Lamb
In my weakness I cried out
 Worthy is the Lamb
In the storms of life, I cried out
 Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

I lift your name up high, Lord Jesus
I magnify and glorify your name
Your name is above all things
 Highly to be exalted
 Highly to be praised

You come to me in my sorrow
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
You come to me in my weakness
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
You come to me in the midst of the storm
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
King of Kings and Lord of Lords to all

I lift your name up high, Lord Jesus
I magnify and glorify your name
Your name is above all things
 Highly to be exalted
 Highly to be praised

 I lift you higher Lord
 I lift you higher Lord
 I lift you higher Lord
 Higher than anything

I lift your name up high, Lord Jesus
I magnify and glorify your name
Your name is above all things
 Highly to be exalted
 Highly to be praised
