 In the sea of life I am sinking fast 
 The waves are high and the north wind blasts
 I look out and see all the past mistakes and failures
 Then I hear a voice calling out by name
 He says “Son you’re mine do not be ashamed.”
 Then I cry out “Lord, thank you for your grace,”  
  
 I am yours in the morning.  I am yours in the evening
 I am yours in the middle of the day
 I am yours when rejoicing.  I am yours when I’m weeping
 I am yours and I’ll not be led away
 I am yours
  
 There are times when my head is not held high
 I am down and out, cannot testify
 Of the love you have for me in all my weakness
 Then I think about your amazing grace
 And the mercy shown me throughout the day
 Then I lift my head up and thank you for your goodness
  
 I am yours in the morning.  I am yours in the evening
 I am yours in the middle of the day
 I am yours when rejoicing.  I am yours when I’m weeping

 What a great day it is when I have Jesus
 What a great day it is when you are near
 I will lift my hands and lift my voice to worship
 And give praise to the one that I adore
